On The Latest: Products, Formulations and Classics

Hello, my sister is in town and she treated me to some Duty Free shopping!! We really enjoy beauty shopping together, we can go at it for hours! I’m so grateful for sisters—they make the best shopping partners.

My small selection contains a few new formulations, new brands I’ll be trying for the first time and products that I already know and have—a little bit of everything.

The Korres pack  isn’t from Duty Free by the way, but it came with my sister’s flight care pack, she just tossed them to me. 🙂 That lip balm is truly amazing!

Moving on, clockwise from left, the new L’Oreal Color Riche Caresse formula lipstick, or rather a balm-lipstick hybrid, which you know I probably wont normally go for, but let’s see. I got it in a fresh pinky coral shade. Also a new, I think yet unavailable (edit: it IS available already, Php695 at local L’Oreal counters), L’Oreal Lucent BB Cream, a self-adjusting next generation BB cream. Just to give you an idea—it’s white!  I also finally got my hands on the Clarins Beauty Flash Balm, probably the star of this selection. This is a cult skin care product that promises to brighten and tighten skin well, in a flash! And, after almost five years, I’m replacing my Shu Uemura lash curler. You’d be surprised to learn that they only recommend using the silicon pad for only three months—I guess I’m waay past my deadline eh?

And lastly, the MAC Paint Pot in Quite Natural which I’ve been on the lookout for a while. A MAC SA told me they don’t stock this shade in the Philippines, so imagine my delight when I saw it at Duty Free! So, yes, a lot of things to look forward to. I’m so excited to talk about these products some more, so stay tuned! As always, if you need to ask anything about these products, just leave me a comment and I’ll try to find out the answer for you.
